Time Type Data
What it is.
It is a field of the form hh:mm that allows you to select the required time, with 24h format. It can be used to record some time of the working day, the time a job starts or ends, etc.
How to configure it in the part model editor.
Select the Data type* Time from the drop-down list. You can define a default value, i.e. a time that always appears when this data is added to the report. This can be changed by scrolling up or down or by scrolling up and down.
It is also possible to indicate that it is sufficient to record the time in 15-minute intervals.
The mandatory and visible PDF checkboxes are used to ensure that a report cannot be sent without completing this data and also as in other types of data you can configure whether you want it to be visible in the PDF.
You can also indicate that you want to record the location when filling in the time value (this setting is incompatible with the default setting).
This type of data, like any data that is related to numbers (except date), can be used to make calculations. In this case, the calculation with hours would be done in decimal format.
How it looks in the APP
Once you have configured the time type data in the model, you can complete the work report with time information. In this case, the example is about the input time.
How to display timestamps on a time axis
In order to display the timestamps organized on a time axis in the model query, the time axis view must be activated. To do this:
- go to the model listing from the web application and access the view configuration by clicking on the gear located at the top of the table in the right corner.
- Activate the option "show time axis".
