Data Type Number

What it is.

It is a numeric field where you can enter any numeric combination, any special value or any digit.

How to configure it in the part model editor.

First, type the name of the data, then select the numeric or number type in the drop-down list Data type* . You can enter units in the Unit field and you can also enter a default value, so that, when filling in a part, this field is already pre-filled. When saving, the name of the data is displayed as the header of the new column, the same header that will be displayed when filling in the report and when downloading it as a PDF. This field is displayed in the app when requesting the data from the mobile user, as shown in the figure.

The mandatory check is to make the user fill in this field in order to be able to send the report. If the data is added at the head or foot of the report, it will always be mandatory. With the Visible PDF check, it will show or not the data in the PDF copy, but it will always be saved in the environment of the completed report.
