Public links to create work reports
What is
This is a functionality with which any person with or without a user in the application can send a document based on the model linked to the public link. That is to say, it can be a report, a work report, delivery note, a referral note, etc.
How to activate it
With an administrator user access to the:
- configuration menu
- Under configuration, go to configure part models in the other configurations block.
- In the model configuration screen, check that the public links option is activated (located at the end of the list).
With the functionality activated you can start using the public links.
How it works
With an Administrator user and from the web environment, go to the model on which you want to generate a public link, in the list of submissions of the model look for the icon of the public link functionality. It is located to the right of the create button, after the excel icon.
- Within the list of public links click on the create button located in the upper right corner.
- Specify a name for the link, this is used to identify it.
- Within the link tab you can define:
- The default status is enabled by default and by clicking on the switch in the upper right corner you can archive it so that the public link will no longer receive any replies or submissions.
- You can edit or modify the link name.
- On the behavior of the link you can allow to edit the date of the part related to the sending and you can hide or show the side bar with the button to log in to the application.
- A fixed project can be defined for the link or it will have to be determined by the guest user.
- Copy the link and distribute it.
