How to edit a model of work report

What is a model of work report

The work report models make it possible to collect all the tasks performed by a company's operators, i.e., they facilitate the collection of information.

At Itcons.app you can choose from dozens of different templates, which are modified and you can edit them yourself until they are perfectly adapted to your company.

First steps

On the left side of the application, you have a menu where you have to select parts. Then, choose add model and the model gallery of work report will appear. Here, you can select one created by the application or start one from scratch. In both cases, you can edit them to suit your company.

How to access the edition of a template work report

To access to edit the work report template the user must have the administrator role.

Once inside the application, navigate to the model of work report that you want to edit, either on the web (recommended) or in the app. Once you are in the part model click on the green gear.

You can also edit a model from the configuration option (on the left in the menu).

Before starting, it is important to mention that it is advisable to edit from the web to configure everything correctly. The editor is divided into three main areas:

A.- Corresponds to the general information of the part model:

  • Name.
  • Users with permissions on the report template (users who can create and send the corresponding report).
  • If assigned to a work order type (for installations with Active work orders)
  • And administration data. Fields that can be added later when sending the document.

B.- This area of the editor corresponds to the one that corresponds to the editor of work reports. Every work report always has three fields that do not need to be added to the model:

  • Date of report.
  • Project to which it corresponds
  • Notes to the report

In addition, the user can define its structure thanks to the editor at work reports. Three subareas are differentiated:

  • Header data.
  • Part lines. In this case tables or table sections can be generated.
  • Part caption

In this section, you can assign the model to a specific company.

C.- in the area at the end of the editor you can configure aspects related to the operation of the app at the time of sending. Options such as activating signature, and setting it as mandatory or not. Finally you can enable or disable the function of requesting mail to send a copy of the report.

The model can only be modified or deleted if there are no parts filled in with this model. The modification will be reflected in the new parts filled in. The templates can be deactivated to temporarily suppress their use, with the deactivate button at the top right of the template already created.
