Data type incremental

What is

It is a numeric field related to a resource (see resource type data) which is fed from the value sent with the last document.

It is mainly used to record machine hourmeters or odometers or to record any incremental or ascending value.

How to configure

Add the reading data in the category.

First of all, a compatible reading data (odometer or odometer) must be added within the category (administration / categories) that encompasses the resources to be related to an incremental type of data, either odometer or odometer.

Add a category type data

In order for the application to know to which category the odometer corresponds, first of all, a category type data must be added, precisely the one that contains a reading data of type odometer or odometer (see previous point).

Add incremental type data

Once we already have a category in the section, it is a matter of adding the data.

You choose the reading data defined in the category and you can also indicate a maximum increment when adding a new value of the hourmeter.

How it looks in the application

Once the data has been configured and the hourmeters have been added to the resource, the operation is as follows:

First you select the resource, in this case a machine.

And after clicking continue the app displays the value of the incremental data stored in the system.

The app will only allow you to add a new value within the defined maximum increment.

How to enter the starting value of the odometer or odometer of the resource

Go to edit the resource and add the value of the hourmeter (this can only be done by an administrator user).
