Scanner type data

What it is. #

It is an alphanumeric field entered instead of manually (text type data) the application captures it from the device's camera after detecting a code that it scans. Useful for entering references, codes, or similar.

How to set it up in the part model editor. #

First you must choose the type of data, in this case "scanner", then in the Data Name field you indicate the header of the data, this field is displayed in the app when requesting the data to the mobile user, in the PDF generated with the work report filled in, appearing as header data, as well as in the Excel export as the column header.

How it looks in the application #

When creating a document that includes this type of data, the app will open the camera and you will have to focus on the code to be scanned.
